ESD - dissipative
In order to protect electrostatic sensitive devices against damages and to avoid defects in the circuit, the electronic pliers with ESD-handles abduct the electrostatic energy that is caused by working with electronic devices.
Attention please! Because of the electric conductivity of the ESD-grip, it is not allowed to touch any power sources with these tools as damages caused by an electric shock cannot be excluded.

EconomyLine ESD
The tried-and-trusted standard ESD EconomyLine series made of forged oil-hardened steel and with precision-made lap-joints is particularly suitable for jobs on components prone to electrostatic charging. The surface is finely polished and the cutting edges have been additionally induction hardened for a long service life. ESD sleeves do not provide protection to the wearer against electric shocks!

Finish 79 ESD
The pliers of type 79 ESD are particularly suitable for working on electrostatically sensitive components and for avoiding interference in the circuit. Thanks to their ESD SoftGripp handles, the electrostatic energy that can arise when working on electronic components can be dissipated in a controlled manner. But be careful! ESD handles do not provide protection against electrical voltage!

Small charges can have considerable impact.
High-performance electronic components are to found in all our smart phones, industrial machinery and our washing machines at home. This makes every repair a job for the professionals. Even the slightest static build-up is enough to damage or destroy sensitive components. This is why professional service engineers rely on ESD tools by NWS. That way, they can be sure that their professional repair skills are matched by corresponding handling of the parts.
